Law Enforcement & Safety:

In this “defund the police” era, our local police officers should be assured that they have the full support and backing of our local citizens and city council. They literally risk it all to protect and serve our community; I will do everything within my power to empower them to keep Huntington Beach a safe place. We cannot risk our Huntington Beach city council falling into the hands of bad actors that would defang our local law enforcement and allow Huntington Beach to become a breeding ground for the criminal activity we see prancing unfettered in so much of California.

Protect our Identity:

Governor Gavin Newsom has mandated undesired and unconstitutional changes to our beach town community, specifically ordering us to erect no less than 13,368 more units of high density. Ironically, the Governor has exempted his hometown from his own High Density mandates, while he puts our hometown of Huntington Beach square in his crosshairs:

"When Californians ask why there isn't enough housing, why the cost of renting continues to increase or why there are so many people experiencing homelessness, I tell them to look at Huntington Beach.”- another city where elected officials are resorting to cheap political stunts to avoid their responsibility to build desperately needed housing."

-Gavin Newsom

We have seen what Newsom has done to San Francisco and we don’t need him or city council members that will pander, roll over, and grovel for his approval. We currently have three Newsom sympathizers that have crept into our city council with a fourth attempting to crawl back in.

I will not bow the knee to Newsom and hand over the keys so he can transform our beloved beach town community into another pack em’ and stack em’ high density disastrous development that will erode away our HB Identity. We are a Charter City, the mandates are unconstitutional according to the U.S. and State Constitutions. When elected I will continue to empower our city attorney, Michael Gates to fight the good fight; and I will flip a council seat that has made its attempts to shackle and sabotage our attorney from defending our hometown.

“I love Huntington Beach, the city I was raised in, and now raising my children in. It's the hometown I represented, fought for; and fought to get back to from overseas. I love our town, I love our community; and you just fight different in life when you are fighting for what you love!“
