Homelessness
Public intoxication, loitering, violence and encampments in public spaces has eroded away at our beach town family friendly vibe. We must reach the intended capacity of the Navigation Center, explore regional options for additional capacity if necessary, and enable HBPD to reclaim control over our parks, streets, and beaches.
Issues
Safety
Safety is vital to community, impacting residents' well-being and stability. Supporting our law enforcement to make crime illegal again will be one of my top priorities to ensure an environment that safeguards our local businesses, and fosters an environment where everyone can thrive without fear in our local community.
Overdevelopment
There is a distinction to be made between responsible development and overdevelopment. I will hold the line and fight to protect and preserve our community against the pack em’ and stack em’ overdevelopment projects that threaten to erode away at our suburban beach town community.
Local Control
Preserving local control is vital in resisting unconstitutional big government overreach. Defending our autonomy safeguards community values and ensures decisions align with local needs. Upholding this principle empowers citizens to shape policies that best reflect their unique perspectives, promoting a more just and responsive governance.
